The Purchasing Managers are responsible for a wide variety of procurement as well as vendor, manufacturer, and customer relations. Direct and coordinate Purchasing team to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and customer service.
Manage existing inventory levels, analyze track and forecast item usage, current trends and company changes that might affect inventory to determine current and future needs.
Source products soliciting competitive bidding from multiple suppliers, recommending new suppliers and creating purchase orders.
Reconcile and resolve vendor inventory and/or contract discrepancies, product recalls, and defects.
