the challenges
The main goal was to quantify skill proficiency and identify skill gaps in fresher candidates and prospective employers.
The challenge

Chegg has over 3 million subscribers, most of them are fresh graduates looking to start their careers. While Chegg provided the best learning material, it lacked a proper skills quantification tool to evaluate the candidate’s job readiness accurately. Due to this, many of their candidates were unsure about their skills and competencies. This also created a gap between candidates and prospective employers.

Chegg's team sought iMocha's help to solve these challenges with a robust API system, comprehensive skills library, insightful assessment report, and white labeling. Chegg partnered with iMocha to add skills assessments to their repertoire. iMocha created the necessary APIs for seamless integration with Chegg. The course content was mapped with iMocha's skills library to provide the tests after each course.
