Average to Exceptional: Amit Mohod’s Remarkable Transformation

Amit openly acknowledges being an "average" student in school. "I wasn't a front bencher or the rebellious back bencher," Amit recalls. "I hovered somewhere unnoticed in the middle." His school scores reflected this: 44% and 47% in his pivotal board exams.

Despite these results, his father believed in him and secured him a spot in a reputed science college, envisioning a brighter future. But Amit wasn't ready yet—he was unaware of his own potential.

Reality hit hard when he found himself enrolled inadvertently in an Industrial Training Institute (ITI), surrounded by students from diverse, often challenging backgrounds. Amit faced initial bullying for his earlier academic choices.

However, this became a turning point rather than a setback. He decided not only to excel in his ITI studies but simultaneously undertook additional courses in computing and electronics, cycling nearly 20 kilometers daily between commitments.

His relentless determination paid off spectacularly—Amit topped his ITI batch, achieving unprecedented marks of approximately 85%.

Empowered by newfound confidence, he didn't stop there. While continuing ITI, he also enrolled in a diploma program, balancing two demanding educational tracks concurrently and performing impressively in both.

Driven by his emerging passion and skills, Amit transitioned seamlessly into engineering, and later, into an MBA in Product Management, where he secured a gold medal.

Reflecting on his journey, Amit emphasizes, "Sometimes you don't even realize the problem you're facing until someone—like my father—helps you see it clearly."
